My Freshman Year at High School

My freshman year at Thomas Edison High School was a fun and at times boring year for me. I made great new friends, but I had too many tests and studying to do, and most of my classes are boring but some were fun.
I made very good new friends at Edison. Many of my friends have helped me through my problems. They've given me hope and advice. Some of them have helped me study for tests. All of my friends have made me laugh. Whenever I'm having a bad or boring day, they've found ways to make me smile. I can't say that for many people. I've realized that most of the people I've met are worth having as friends. I think there might be too many of them to name, so I won't write who they are. I don't want to leave anyone out and make them get mad at me. But I know for sure that if I stay in this school for all four years, these people will stay my friends 'till then and possibly longer.
This year I had many tests, and because of this I had a lot of studying to do. This, to me, is not at all fun. It's the complete opposite. In the second term of the year, my tests and quiz grades began dropping. I wasn't doing as well as I had done the first term. My report card grade also dropped and so I had to do extra math studying to bring up my grades. Also, both terms my global class grades kept dropping. I found global to be the most boring subject I had ever taken and so I sort of got lazy with the studying. My parents became upset and so I had to do extra studying for this subject as well. A difficult test that I'll be taking soon is the Biology regents. I'm not too good with Biology and I need to pass these regents in order to graduate, so I've started studying really hard. While I study I become terribly bored because I have to sit and read or write the same thing over for hours and hours.
Most of my classes were boring and some classes were fun my freshman year. For example, my global classes almost made me fall asleep. They were very boring. I've never liked anything having to do with history or geography. For some reason, this year I realized I hate the subject. Writing class and english were the opposite though. I enjoyed these classes. In writing class I learned new things about webpages. I learned how to make a website. In english I learned interesting new writing and reading techniques. These are techniques that will help me in the future.
My freshman year was at times boring and at times fun. These are because of the facts that I made great new friends, I had many tests and studying to do, and most of my classes were boring but some were fun.
